Grant Resource Center

In 2008-2009, the Natick Education Foundation will offer two categories of grants: Focus Grants and Enrichment Grants. Grants are available to teachers and others who can offer enrichment education in Natick’s Public Schools.

  • This year’s Focus Grant Competition is Life Skills for the 21st Century. NEF will make a substantial investment across the elementary, middle and high school levels in projects that supplement or enrich curriculum which teaches such skills.

Today as we prepare to send our graduating seniors off into the world, our children will need the skills to manage many transitions through their lives - changing schools, jobs, careers, and geography. How our children choose to manage those changes - or not - will have an enormous impact on their future. Understanding how to control finances, address legal matters, balance competing priorities, and maintain personal safety can have an enormous impact on the health and well being of our children.

  • The Enrichment Grants, which are smaller grants for $1,000 or less, support implementation of an innovative approach to teaching any academic or arts area in the curriculum. Enrichment applications are available on a rolling basis and awards will be made three times during the school year.
