Teachers as Scholars
This grant sponsored a year-long staff development program at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education for teachers in grades K-12. The foundation is currently sponsoring 10 Natick teachers to attend this program. The teachers attend seminars at Harvard and can also arrange for site visits to their schools to work on curriculum and staff development issues.
Math and Science Investigations with a Calculator
This grant provided training and materials to each elementary school’s third and fourth grade. Training focused on using calculators as a scientific tool to enhance learning.
Middle School Advising
This grant provided funding for enhanced training on advising for the Wilson Middle School teachers and staff. This program helps to promote positive academic, organizational, problem solving and social skills within the school.
High School Workshops
The foundation sponsored several high school teachers to attend workshops on technology and science training. |
